Minutes of the Finance Committee meeting of Perton Parish Council

F01/20 – TO APPOINT A CHAIRMAN
Cllr Mrs PA Allen took the chair for this meeting.

F02/20 – APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies were received and noted for D Glynn and J Sherlock.

F03/20 – DECLARATION OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY AND OTHER INTERESTS
No declaration of disclosable pecuniary and other interests received.

F04/20 – REQUESTS FOR DISPENSATION
No requests for dispensation received.

F05/20 – MINUTES OF MEETING
Resolved that the minutes of the Meeting held on 3rd March 2020, previously distributed, were a true and correct record and signed by the Chairman.

F06/20 – ACCOUNTS PAID
The Clerk presented a list of payments up to 30th September 2020 along with a cashbook summary and explained payments made to First 4 Flooring, ESPO and Unity. A payment of £10.40 from June for a Vacuum cleaner part listed under equipment was queried. Resolved that all payments were correct and authorised.

F07/20 – INCOME RECEIVED
The schedule of income received to 30th September 2020 was reviewed and accepted for information and noted the Parish Council’s disappointment at being advised by South Staffordshire District Council that they were not eligible for the Covid-19 Discretionary Business Grant.

F08/20 – BUDGET TO DATE
The budget to date was reviewed and information noted. Resolved to make the following virements;
£1,000 from Senior Citizens and £1,000 from Graffiti cleaning to Covid-19 PPE.

F09/20 – RECONCILIATIONS
Also presented for scrutiny the Co-op bank and Petty Cash records. Resolved that all reconciliations were correct along with the Petty Cash balance and were signed-off by the Chairman, Committee Member and Clerk.

F10/20 – DATE AND TIME OF NEXT MEETING
