Visiting the parish

Access to Perton can be gained either from the A41 Holyhead Road or alternatively from the A454 Bridgnorth Road.

Events held in Perton include the annual Perton Carnival  on the May Day public holiday. It draws great crowds to watch the parade of floats around the Parkway from the Library in Severn Drive to the centre of the village at Anders Square. Attractions include a funfair and giant bouncy castle as well as entertainers. The main purpose of the Carnival is to raise funds for local voluntary groups.

An annual Springwatch Festival takes place in and around Perton Library just after Easter. The Festival is organised by Wild About Perton and brings together local organisations to celebrate local wild places and wildlife. Attractions include: making a bird, bat or bee box, badge-making, wildlife artist, competitions and much for families to see and do. Entrance is free.

The Christmas Lights Switch on takes place annually on the first Saturday in December.  There are fundraising and craft stalls held in The Church At Perton and Perton Civic Centre.
