Enterprise team supports at Chase Aqua Rural Enterprise (CARE) through volunteering
The Enterprise team from South Staffordshire Council recently spent a rewarding day volunteering at Chase Aqua Rural Enterprise (CARE) a local organisation that provides a range of informal educational and therapeutic rural activities.
| CARE takes a holistic approach that encourages learning, promotes wellbeing, and supports vulnerable adults, young people and children, schools, community groups, and private individuals.
During the volunteering day, the Enterprise team got involved in a variety of hands-on tasks across the site, helping with wreath making, grounds maintenance, and other practical activities.
One of the highlights of the day was meeting Peaches the goat, who quickly became a team favourite.
The experience gave the team valuable insight into the vital work CARE does to make a positive difference in the local community.
A huge thank you to everyone at CARE for their warm welcome, and to the Enterprise team for representing the council’s values of community and collaboration in action. |
