WILD Zoological Park earns world-class BIAZA accreditation
WILD Zoological Park has achieved BIAZA Accredited status, marking a major milestone and confirming its place among the UK and Ireland’s top zoos and aquariums.
WILD! is among the first organisations accredited under BIAZA’s new, rigorous scheme, which goes beyond standard zoo licensing through expert inspections, detailed evidence and in-depth assessments.
This world-class recognition highlights WILD!’s exceptional standards in animal welfare, conservation and education. Key achievements include breeding critically endangered species such as blue-throated macaws, delivering the UK’s largest free-flight bird display, WILD WINGS, and providing outstanding animal care, veterinary practice and educational programmes for all ages.
Dr Jo Judge, CEO of BIAZA, praised the dedication of the entire WILD! team, noting that accreditation reflects passion, professionalism and a commitment to making a positive difference for animals, people and the planet.
