Relief Receptionist
As a Relief Receptionist you will be required to undertake general reception duties including receiving admission fees and issue of receipts, assisting the general public with both face to face and telephone enquiries, taking facility bookings and assisting in the control and supervision of the reception area. Providing assistance with the clerical support of the centre and accurate record keeping is also a requirement of this post.
You will have a friendly personality and good telephone manner as well as the ability to work under pressure. Previous relevant work experience* including customer service and cash handling is essential, a knowledge of computerised booking systems, is desirable.

Hours of work: On a relief basis

The County Council elections are just around the corner, taking place on Thursday, 1st May 2025. Below, you’ll find all the key information you need to ensure your vote is counted and to learn more about the candidates standing in your area.
The deadline has now passed for registering to vote online, and for requesting a postal or proxy vote.
Return your postal vote
| Please return your postal vote as soon as possible to ensure it is counted!
If you miss the post, you can hand in your postal vote and/or the postal vote of up to 5 others at the council office between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday to a person authorised to receive postal votes, or at any polling station in the relevant electoral area before 10PM on Thursday, 1st May, 2025. You will be provided with a form which you must complete for the postal vote(s) you are handing in to be accepted. |
