I am an active church member and I hold the Dementia Friend Certificate for The Church At Perton I’m also a member of South Staffs & the Black Country Dementia Friendly Churches Group. I recently held a Wellbeing Dementia event at the Church at Perton. I also run a Wellbeing cafe at the church once a month.
I have been volunteering at Acorns for 5 years now and I try to encourage people to volunteer to help their community in anyway they can.
