M16/20 – APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
No apologies were received.

M17/20 – DECLARATION OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY AND OTHER INTERESTS
Declarations of interest were received for the following;
• Item M20/20 Room Hire Charges – Cllrs N Caine, P Davis, D Glynn and Mrs R Heseltine.

M18/20 – MINUTES
Resolved that the minutes of the Management Committee meeting held on 5th February and 7th October 2020, were a true and correct record. The Chairman to sign in the Clerk’s office as soon as practical.

M19/20 – MANAGEMENT REPORT
• Telephone contract renewed for 24 months with BT, £17 per month cheaper than previous year.
• Unfortunately the building has been closed to the majority of hirers for most of 2020 due to COVID-19. Staffordshire County Council have been using the centre for Covid testing and Blood Donors are holding various sessions.
• The Caretakers and Cleaner are on flexible furlough. Office staff are currently working from home.
M20/20 – CIVIC CENTRE ROOM HIRE RATES 2021/22
Resolved to recommend no increase for the next financial year. Committee to review usage once Covid-19 restrictions are relaxed.

M21/20 – CIVIC CENTRE INNER AUTOMATIC DOOR
The sensor on the inner door is not working correctly. Resolved to appoint Assa Abloy to complete the repairs in the new financial year at a cost of £2850 + vat

M22/20 – CIVIC CENTRE PROMOTIONAL BROCHURE
Resolved that some of the photo’s are updated following the refurb of the Civic Centre and also to promote the Centre more for parties or wakes. Clerk to research the cost of a larger digital advertising screen.
