Hop into Easter half term adventures
The Easter holidays are almost here, and Staffordshire is packed with activities to keep your children entertained. Whether your little ones enjoy crafting, exploring history, or hunting for hidden treasures, there’s something for everyone this half term.
Libraries across the county are getting into the Easter spirit. Over at Stone Library, kids can try their hand at rock painting on Friday 10 April, and Leek Library is offering a fun Easter craft session for children aged three and over on Monday 30 March – no booking needed.
The Staffordshire History Centre is also bursting with family fun. On Tuesday 31 March, you can enjoy watercolour painting sessions and a free spotlight talk about 1920s artist Mabel Layng. On Thursday 2 April, the centre hosts the Vicious Victorians Family Fun Day, where children can dress up, try hands-on activities, and explore 19th-century life – all free of charge.
For outdoor fun, Cannock Chase has Easter scavenger trails starting Saturday 28 March. Children can search for hidden eggs, collect items along the way, and even spot the conservation cows. There’s a prize for every completed trail, which costs just £3.
From arts and crafts to egg hunts and historical adventures, there’s plenty for you and your children to enjoy this Easter across Staffordshire.
