Codsall villagers celebrate the Tipton’s arrival
Codsall’s newest building society has opened its doors, bringing more choice to local people over how they manage their money.
| The Tipton & Coseley Building Society held a special reception and opening ceremony at its new branch at The Square, which operates Monday to Saturday and offers a wide range of savings and mortgage products.
Residents, community leaders, fundraisers, dignitaries and business owners attended the event, alongside Wolves legends John Richards and Steve Daley. There were goody bags and giveaways for the first customers and edible treats prepared by Medicine Kitchen and Bakery.
Tipton Chief Executive Adam Evetts said: “Codsall is a vibrant village, well connected and with a really strong sense of local community. We think it’s the perfect place for us to launch our fifth building society branch in the region.”
Councillor Megan Barrow, who cut the ribbon on opening day, added: “It’s a great pleasure to see a fresh new business arrive in Codsall and I’m sure the community will welcome the Tipton with open arms.”
