Partnership updates
Be a Creative Sound Explorer
Sound artist Sam Topley will be making some fun activities for youngsters to take part in alongside this year’s Summer Reading Challenge theme ‘Gadgeteers’ at Staffordshire Libraries.
Sam will be sharing fun and exciting ways kids can explore different ways to make sound; from creating their own sound effects and music making gadgets, to composing soundscapes, and making instruments using simple materials and everyday technology.
From July 9th, activities will be released each week on Staffs Libraries’ website: www.staffslibrariesculture.wordpress.com/creative-explorers
You can receive activities by subscribing to the website, look out for links on the Staffordshire Libraries Facebook page, or pick them up from your local library.
Activities are aimed at children aged 4 to 12, but will need adults’ help too.
