Changes in discounts 2025
From 1st April 2025 charges will be changing to unoccupied and unfurnished properties and uninhabitable properties.
Currently, unoccupied, and unfurnished properties attract a 1-month discount of 100% and uninhabitable properties attract a maximum 12-month discount of 50%.
From 1st April 2025 both discounts will no longer be available. |

Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme
The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme enables local authorities in England to deliver inclusive, enriching activities including a hot meal over the school holidays. Eligible children can book up to four free places throughout the Easter holidays.
Activities run from Monday 14th – 25th April. Bookings open on Monday, 10th March at 4pm.
Who can attend HAF?
- Children and young people aged 5-16 years in receipt of benefit-related free school meals. Paid for places are also available.
- They can attend 4 sessions throughout the Easter holiday.
- This includes a healthy meal if the session is over 2 hours.
