Connecting young people with local careers
South Staffordshire Council is excited to launch Inspiring Tomorrow’s Workforce, a new initiative showcasing local career opportunities and bridging the gap between education and employment.
As part of this, we’re proud to introduce Your Pathway from Classroom to Career – an interactive digital brochure giving students a window into the local job market.
The brochure showcases a diverse range of professions through the voices of South Staffordshire employers and their employees.
It includes professional videos, ‘day in the life’ insights, and 360° workplace tours, giving young people a real feel for various roles and industries. It also gives guidance on training and career development.
With over 4,500 businesses in South Staffordshire, this programme gives employers the chance to showcase local careers and share real experiences. It also helps inspire future talent, support workforce development, and guide young people’s career choices.
Together, we can equip young people with the knowledge and inspiration they need to build successful careers locally, while strengthening South Staffordshire’s economy. Get involved and help shape the future workforce. |
